From their office based in Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), our colleagues at BSPZ.Law, specifically partners Pablo Berger and Fabiano Zouvi, provided legal advice on the sale of Rota Oeste John Deere and Wirtgen to the companies Iguaçu Máquinas, Agrobaggio and Nissei Máquinas. The transaction involved R$ 141 million (€21,291,000.00) in addition to various real estate assets.
It was a fairly complex transaction and affected everything from facilities to commercial outlets and brands, inventories and employees. Some of the stores acquired were also leased back to the sellers.
